I have a friend. This friend makes a living by creating sock puppets and then taking pictures of the sock puppets. Currently he's working on a set of three, "The Three Charles'" as he calls them: Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens, and Charles in Charge. He said he wanted to use Charles Darwin because "he has a sweet beard"

I'd love to see the finished product! Darwin does indeed have a sweet beard. If I don't make a major scientific discovery by the time I'm 50, maybe I'll be able to grow a beard like that as a consolation prize...
